Winter Concert Gift Basket Raffle at The Roosevelt Island School

We had so many people enter in our Winter Concert Gift Basket Raffle at The Roosevelt Island school! Every class did a wonderful job putting together an amazing gift basket, the PTA appreciates how much effort parents invested in this process. The Winter Concert raffle is one of our most important fundraisers of the year - raising school spirit and money, - thank you for participating in it!

Ms. Beckman, the Principal, drew the winning tickets at the raffle after the Winter Concert. One of the raffle baskets went to the parents from our Gifted and Talented class! Congratulations to the parents of Xavier T. - lucky winners of the "Toys, Arts, and Crafts" basket!

A letter from Kristi T., who oversaw the Raffle:

"Dear parents,
I wanted to personally thank all of you who participated in raising funds for the Music & Arts program at our holiday concert. Whether you donated an item for a raffle basket, money for an item, bought raffle tickets, sold raffle tickets or gave a donation at the door, all of these helped to make this fundraiser a success.
Thanks to all of your efforts we were able to raise $1,077 for the Music & Arts program at our school. We are so grateful for your generosity and dedication to the school!

Thank you again.
Kristi T.
1st Vice President, PTA"
