2009 Winter Concert at the Roosevelt Island School

2009 Winter Concert at The Roosevelt Island School on Wednesday, December 9th, was a great success! This year we had almost 300 of kids on our school new Auditorium stage as group and individual performers. Children from all grades practiced hard for the concert, and it was great to see so many talented students from The Roosevelt Island School perform at this fantastic event! Kindergarteners, first, and second graders gave a touching performance as a chorus.

Students from the middle school were amazing, playing like professional symphonic bands. We thank Music Director Harold Solow who put so much work into organising this wonderful Winter Concert, all the talented performers, and supportive audience who made this night so memorable!

The Concert provides critical funds to support P.S./I.S. 217 in-school music program. Thank you for your generous admittance donations!
