"Small Moment" Stories

Students in class K003 of The Roosevelt Island School have started publishing their "Small Moments" stories. They learned how some big ideas for stories are "watermelon sized" and smaller ones are "seed sized". Each student came up with a watermelon idea first and then choose a seed from it. Then they followed the writing process:
