50/50 RAFFLE
If you are buying the raffle tickets, please do not forget to return ticket stubs with your contact information & payment ($2 per ticket). You can drop them in the PTA mailbox (on the wall in the kindergarten wing). If you need more tickets, please email psis217info@gmail.com or ask Ms. Lauraine (Parent Coordinator) at the school office.
We are looking for volunteers to help us sell raffle tickets and collect donations to the PTA General Fund by the school entrance at drop off and pick up time. This will entail coming to school about 10 minute earlier than you usually do, and staying for extra 5-10 minutes later. Please let me know if you can help any day during this week and the next one, either in the morning or in the afternoon.
The PTA will also set up a table at the Saturday Market this Saturday, April 13th to sell the raffle tickets and collect donations from the Roosevelt Island community. We need volunteers to sign up for the shifts. If you can help us for one hour any time from 9 am till 2 pm this Saturday, please contact Olga Shchuchinov atolga.shchuchinov@gmail.com
If you want to donate money specifically to the Art Program, you can do this by going to the websitehttp://www.gofundme.com/ps217art
. It was created by PS/IS217 parents to ensure that the Art program stays at PS/IS 217 for the next school year.

If you have not filled and submitted the Learning Environment Survey, please do it before April 12, Friday.
Remember, that the survey affects evaluation grade that our school will receive from the Department of Education, and low percentage of participating families will reflects negatively on our school.
If we reach 70% participation level, as a reward, the students will have a free popcorn/ Movie Night!
