This Week's Highlights at the Roosevelt Island School Gifted and Talented




Tuesday, April 20th @8:45 am - Conversational English for Parents - in the library, open to the community
Wednesday, April 21st - Field Trip to the "Swedish Cottage Marionette" Theater see "Three"
- Wednesday, April 21st @1:30 pm - April Birthday Lunch with the Principal Celebration - in the school cafeteria
- Thursday, April 22nd @8:30 am - Publishing Party in the classroom
- Friday, April 23rd @7:30 am - School Leadership Team meeting - in the conference room
Friday, April 23rd @8:40 am - 2010 Art Show and Silent Auction Committee Meeting - in the Roosevelt Island school library
- Friday, April 23rd @1:30 pm - Conversational English for Parents - in the P.S./I.S. 217 library, open to the community
- Friday, April 23rd - LAST DAY TO SUBMIT LEARNING ENVIRONMENT SURVEY!
- This week's sight words are: GAVE, PLAYED, MAKING, STOP, GOING.  Please practice these words daily with your child in addition to their assigned homework.  Children will have a sight word test on Friday.

Weather permitting, children will have a picnic in Central Park.  Please let the teachers know if you can't provide a bag lunch for you child so they can have the school provide a bag lunch
