Last Day of Spanish Program 2010 at the Roosevelt Island School (P.S./I.S. 217)

 P.S./I.S. 217 (Roosevelt Island School) students from grades K through 3 had their last session of Spanish this Wednesday, June 16th, 2010.  The first year was a huge success for this new PTA sponsored Spanish after-school program "Explorando Español", established through a partnership with El Taller Latino Americano.  Each student received a folder with multiple art projects s/he completed during the semester, and a CD with songs and vocabulary words that the classes recorded earlier this year.
